Place is open 24/7 and I and it always hits the spot. Food is flavorful and mine and my brothers "go to" for late night Mexican food.
This restaurant is still far better than the one on Del Rosa I don't know why but it used to be my go to for menudo on the weekends. But the past few years it's just been gross. There is a horrible smell to the menudo and it matches the taste. The pork burritos used to be a hit but they are very dry now . The sauce is good but the pork is just dry. I've given up. Baseline sets the standard in quality too bad they don't follow suite in all their restaurants
Great carne asada tacos, even if it's midnight on a Sunday. The line was a bit long but it went by quickly. None of the Amapola's have let us down yet.
The shredded beef taco knocked my socks off that I ordered 3 more that thing was BOMBSKI
Awesome highly recommend chicharron tacos they are amazing always fast service I usually do drive through but sit down is fine also
I loved the menudo station, and how they have all separate and you can select what you like! Customer is really good now they have really nice ladies in the registers!
The crunchy tacos were delicious! The Chile Verde Pork Cheese friese were delicious! I did have a few issues tho: I asked for 4 chicken tacos and you gave me none. I asked for rice and light cheese on the carne asada burrito and there was no rice, it was all carne asada and cheese at the very bottom of the burrito. You charged me extra for the rice & cheese although you could have substituted the other ingredients for the rice and cheese since it didn't have any in it. (maybe some training is required on how to do substitutions) I'm not expecting a refund or anything; just some things I noticed. Regardless the food was all very delicious and I would come back but I would order in person rather than over the phone.
